About the Role

We’re looking for a UX designer who is passionate about creating seamless, intuitive, beautiful web and mobile experiences. The core platform you’ll help design is our online business insurance advice, quote, and checkout application. As a UX Designer you’ll be a key part of the idea generation process, working on a small team which takes full ownership of every aspect of the product process from strategy to the design-develop-launch-iterate cycle. Our process for designing, developing, and launching new features involves a lot of customer interaction—you’ll work directly with customers to drive continuous design improvement.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Enjoy being hands on with interaction design, visual design, prototyping and customer research
  • Obsess over details—UI consistency, user behavior, and microinteractions
  • Have experience developing wireframes and prototypes
  • Have experience with web, mobile, and responsive UI products
  • Have the ability to consider and weigh the business impact of design decisions


  • 2+ years of experience on a design team working across the entire product development lifecycle and successfully shipping products
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including user research, product management, and engineering

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Senior Accountant to join our finance team in our Waltham, MA office.  Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the successful candidate will have responsibility for various aspects of the Finance function.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Record and track fixed assets
  • Process payroll and maintain benefits
  • Prepare and manage client & carrier policy reconciliation reports
  • Perform month-end close process, including balance sheet and income statement analysis, accruals, allocations, journal entries
  • Assist in preparation of the annual budget
  • Assist with the year-end external audit
  • Maintain electronic files and documents accurately in accordance with company policy
  • Support Management with various ad hoc projects

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting or equivalent private industry experience
  • Strong technical GAAP foundation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint

Mitigates risk, and exposure through accurate recording keeping and timely resolution for our carriers and clients.     

Skills & Qualifications

  • Current Property & Casualty License
  • Bachelors/Associates degree
  • Solving insurance needs for P&C commercial lines insurance policies for current clients/policyholders. Minimum 3 years experience. 
  • Identify any gaps in coverage to ensure client has proper coverage.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge of commercial lines of business; Workers’ Compensation, Business Insurance, General Liability to support  AP Intego product offerings.
  • Detail orientation in everything you do: there is a lot of customer and policy information flying by you – having a keen eye here is essential
  • Fearless in a fast paced environment and able to work on multiple tasks at once
  • Personal standard for excellence:  a demonstrated capacity to produce work with few/no errors

The purpose of the is role is to have a dedicated account manager responsible for renewal and retention of a premier book of Property & Casualty business.   Extensive industry knowledge required to support each client throughout their policy term.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Achieve company and individual revenue targets through customer retention and account rounding.
  • Be responsible for retention target associated with book of business.
  • Manage the lifecycle of each policyholder, and annually renew existing clients.
  • Increase revenue through ancillary product attachment
  • Maintains and fosters customer relationships, including carriers, payroll partners, State Funds, alternative markets, to ensure prompt and efficient service to their assigned book of business.
  • Meets and/or exceeds established productivity and quality standards.
  • Performs annual needs analysis for each client.
  • Assists in the establishment of policies and implements all policies and procedures relating to the workflow of the assigned team to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Maintains compliance with state, federal and insurance carrier guidelines, as well as standards set forth by AP Intego and its partners.
  • Researches and proposes enhancements to existing products’ operational processes to create efficiencies and maintain individual service standards.
  • Partners with internal departments to facilitate all back end processing for customer support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor degree; BA or BS in business, finance, accounting, insurance or other related field.
  • NYS Property & Casualty License
