JOB SUMMARY

Provides advanced service and technical product support to our internal and external clients. Possess advanced commercial insurance knowledge for the products and services offered by AP Intego. Mitigates risk, and exposure through accurate recording keeping and timely resolution for our carriers and clients.     

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Property & Casualty License
  • Bachelors/Associates degree
  • Solving insurance needs for P&C commercial lines insurance policies for current clients/policyholders. Minimum 3 years experience. 
  • Identify any gaps in coverage to ensure client has proper coverage.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge of commercial lines of business; Workers’ Compensation, Business Insurance, General Liability to support  AP Intego product offerings.
  • Detail orientation in everything you do: there is a lot of customer and policy information flying by you – having a keen eye here is essential
  • Fearless in a fast paced environment and able to work on multiple tasks at once
  • Personal standard for excellence:  a demonstrated capacity to produce work with few/no errors
  • Customer focus; ability to deliver delightful service and fix the occasional customer issues with grace

Summary:

As part of the Sales team, your primary mission will be to help provide our small business customers with peace of mind – the knowledge that they have the proper insurance protection for their business.    You will do this by reaching out to new referrals, to solicit and quote commercial insurance policies, and by working with existing customers from our existing national book of business to expand coverage where necessary.  Your responsibilities are focused on contacting all prospective clients within target time frames and developing relationships with referral sources and carrier contacts to successfully sell.   You will be counted on to work closely with prospective customers to educate them on the benefits of our programs and products while ensuring all accounts are underwritten within carrier guidelines.

Everyone is asked to meet or exceed minimum monthly production numbers for unit and/or revenue and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.  The best candidates are team players that have knack for focusing on each individual sales experience to give clients an amazing buying experience.

On an as needed basis, you may also participate in various projects as we develop the best ways to scale for growth. To achieve your goals, you’ll collaborate daily with team members in customer service, new accounts, and customer care.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • An active NYS Property and Casualty license is required
  • 1-3 years of experience working within a commercial lines agency or insurance carrier
  • Proven ability to use sales and selling techniques such as securing critical risk information, identifying and overcoming objections, solving prospect or policyholder problems, generating interest, asking for the sale and conducting follow-up to convert leads to sales
  • Understanding of insurance coverages afforded by the current ISO forms to include but not limited to BOP, GL, Commercial Auto, E&O, D&O, Workers Compensation and EPLI.

Purpose of this role – The objective of the role is to use various Voice of the Customer data sources (i.e. NPS, CSAT, VOIC/general customer feedback) to identify opportunities to deliver a consistent customer experience.  The successful candidate will be responsible for aggregating various inputs with voice of the customer data and deliver regular reporting to aid in the facilitation of ongoing discussions about continuous improvement and remediation efforts.

  • Perform regular analysis and reporting to deliver key metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) & Client Satisfaction (CSAT) to drive improvement in our business.
  • Collaborate with Leadership team to identify and shape customer experience, monitoring improvement opportunities and manage training implementation.
  • Be the main point of contact for the organization who have inquires about any customer insights program.   (VOC, NPS & CSAT)
  • Engage with our customers to gain insights and assist with problem resolution.
  • Work with business units to ensure the relevant business context is applied to the customer feedback analysts and insight is appropriately documented.
  • Execute quarterly analysis to ensure customer feedback is identifying customer experience improvement opportunities and work consultatively with business units to identify strategies for driving customer value and advocacy.
  • Drive engagement in customer survey insights across the business.
  • Coordinate with management team to review Zendesk aging tickets, identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve client experience.
  • As needed assists with small projects that improve workflows and client experience.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree; BA or BS in business, finance, statistics, or other related field.
  • Self-motivated individual to go above and beyond.
  • Three years of experience in customer research and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of data, measurement, reporting, and analytics.  Ability to combine data sets from multiple applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Net Promoter; questionnaire development, qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines

The purpose of the is role is to have a dedicated account manager responsible for renewal and retention of a premier book of Property & Casualty business.   Extensive industry knowledge required to support each client throughout their policy term.   Achieve company and individual revenue targets through customer retention and account rounding.

  • Responsible for retention target associated with book of business.
  • Manage the lifecycle of each policyholder, and annually renew existing clients.   Increase revenue through ancillary product attachment
  • Maintains and fosters customer relationships, including carriers, payroll partners, State Funds, alternative markets, to ensure prompt and efficient service to their assigned book of business.
  • Meets and/or exceeds established productivity and quality standards.
  • Performs annual needs analysis for each client.
  • Assists in the establishment of policies and implements all policies and procedures relating to the workflow of the assigned team to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Maintains compliance with state, federal and insurance carrier guidelines, as well as standards set forth by AP Intego and its partners.
  • Researches and proposes enhancements to existing products’ operational processes to create efficiencies and maintain individual service standards.
  • Partners with internal departments to facilitate all back end processing for customer support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
